“Meet 11-year-old Davyon Johnson, who saved two people’s lives within 24 hours. On Dec. 9, while in class, a student was removing the cap from their water bottle to fill it up when the cap got stuck in their throat. Davyon noticed the student choking and immediately performed abdominal thrusts. He was able to dislodge the cap from the student’s throat and save his life.
Later that evening, Davyon also witnessed a woman’s house on fire. He managed to help her off her porch and to a safe area. His heroic actions were recognized by his local police department, county Sheriff’s Office and school board. He also received a Red Cross Lifesaving Award from us. 🥰”
